Below the picture on the front of the postcard printed in brown ink is "WAR MEMORIAL, KATANNING W.A. PUBLISHED BY RICHARDSON & CO. M 4551."
On the back of the postcard printed in black lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with headings "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "KODAK" at the top and bottom and the words 'AUSTRAL' on the sides. This square marks the position to put a stamp.
On the back of the postcard handwritten in dark ink is "To Auntie & Uncle. A Remembrance of your trip to Katg. From Dorothy 1931".
