Oil Can
c. 1900An oval shaped sealed metal can which has a long spout at one end and a handle at the other. On the side of the can is a brass plate, the spout has been welded onto the can. On the top of the can is an oval shaped lid with a handle which slides towards the spout, this allows the can to be filled with oil. The knob on the top of the oil can near the handle adjusts the amount of oil that comes out of the spout.

Details
On the lid on the top of the can underneath the raised handle is etched "CROSSLEY" and opposite the handle is "MANCHESTER".
On the brass plate on the side of the can is embossed "CROSSLEY". On the base of the can is etched "No 05" and underneath is "IP"
