Overview

A cream silk circular bonnet with lace edging around the bottom of the bonnet. At the front and back there are four layers of lace edging to make a semi-circle on the bonnet.

Historical information

It is machine stitched with hand sewing securing the double lace front and back. It would have been used to cover hair.
