Chinon 44 Super 8 Auto Zoom Movie Camera
c. 1974 - 1978Rectangular box with a handle at the the bottom, metal with black plastic covering, camera and eye piece at one end and a round lens at the other.
Made between 1974 and 1978 in Japan by Chinon. This hand held movie camera was one of the last models that did not have a simultaneous sound recording function. The Chinon Company has been owned by Kodak-Eastman since the early 1980's.
