At the bottom of the postcard in white typed lettering is "Private Hospital, Katanning".
On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with a heading for the right hand column of "ADDRESS ONLY" and in the top right hand corner a square with the words "AFFIX STAMP" in the square. On the left vertical side of the postcard in brown lettering is "Printed in Saxony".
