Historical information

This card was awarded to Rowland Beetson at Greenough on 7th October 1908. Rowland Beetson's parents moved from SA to WA in 1896. They settled in Harvey, before moving to Greenough in 1906. Beetson worked for David E. Grant at Moonyoonooka. He married in 1909, and in 1912 moved to Guildford, then Greenhills.
His horse 'Cream Bess' was owned by him at Harvey and over 15 years won many show certificates.
