TURQUOISE STONE NECKLACE
Slightly tarnished necklace, consisting of oval shaped turquoise stones in a setting linked with a small joiner to oval decorative brass disks.
Three original joiners missing.
There are thirty-five turquoise stones, thirty-five disks. Ends are not joined; pieces missing.
The necklace has been repaired.
Possibly Oriental as visits are believed to have been made by local landowners to India for setting up horse trading. Trinkets such as this could possibly have been brought back as gifts.
