Overview

Nineteenth century wooden plough plane with two arm adjustable fence and brass fittings.
The rebate has a guide.
There are four decorative screws made of wood to adjust sizing, with a brass piece nailed onto two of the screws.
Stamped on one end are the initials P.R.S.

Historical information

The donor, Peter Romeo Salvaire, died in 1981 at the age of 96. It is assumed the initials on the plane are his. At the time of the donation Peter advised the plane had also been used by his father.
