Austral Terrace
c. 1920A black and white photograph of the intersection of two streets and looking down the street which has buildings on it. The street has five two storey buildings with balconies. There is a cart harnessed with two horses and two men chatting next to the cart, both roads are dirt. On the right hand side there is part of a building which has a picket fence and picket gate outside of it.
This picture has been copied, however the whereabouts of the original is unknown. The building which has the picket fence in front of it is the Katanning Flour Mill. The next building is the "F & C PIESSE" building, which has a sign "RICHARDSON & CO" on the front, the next building has a sign "G McLEOD KATANNING HOTEL" on the side.
