Square blue damask tablecloth with CWA of WA crest in cross-stitch embroidery in all four corners

Historical information

This tablecloth was forwarded to CWA of WA by the family of Valerie Murray who was an active member of this branch in 1950's. Val held the position of President and was involved in Handicraft demonstrations and a committee member of the Narrogin Boarding school hostel when it was run by the CWA of WA (A Dormitory is named after her - Murray Ward).
Her son Raymond can remember the cloth being used on special occasions such as Divisional Meetings.
Val passed away in 1991.
