Contextual Information

Received early 2019 from Jo Hewitt:
'In reference to the very, very old tablecloth found in State Office with names and dates (Countrywoman Magazine Nov-Dec) 2018, then in the Jan-Feb magazine 2019 with affirmation that most of the folk whose embroidered names were of Baandee ladies and some ex State Presidents stirred my memories of a cloth in the Baandee Restroom

It is a replica also with those names embroidered in blue obviously done more recently perhaps after the Restroom was shifted brick by brick from Baandee townsite to the Mangowine Heritage Trust site after 1974. This cloth is in very good condition placed under plastic on the large table which was donated by the Dangin C.W.A.

Mrs Joan Crook Nukarni Branch who had a lot to do with re locating the Baandee Restroom cannot throw any light as to when this cloth was done but it creates much interest from visitors.
