c. 1950Black and white photo showing a built-in Metters range, with tiled surrounds. There are approximately five plates and two separate ovens with double doors marked 'Metters Ltd' on each door. There is a chrome bar running just below the plates, gas cocks for regulating the flow of gas, and a flue above. 'Home of Peace Subiaco' written in ink on the reverse. Metters Ltd was well known for cooking equipment (such as the Early Kooka).
