c. 1950Black and white photograph showing the interior of the Drying Room at the Children's Hospital, Subiaco. A large squat cubicle with five metal doors stands to the left. Six steel rails extend from the cubicle and the furthest rail next to the wall, supports a frame from which towels and laundry items are suspended. A series of hooks along the top of the same rail are available to hang clothing. The drier was manufactured by Metters Ltd of Salvado Road, Subiaco.
