Claremont High School was on the corner of Bay View Tce and Princess Rd and was part of Claremont Government School. Claremont Senior School became Claremont Central School in 1909 with classes to year 7. It became Claremont High School in 1946, a three year high school. In 1958 the High School students went to Hollywood High and the school went back to Claremont Primary School. Guy Moore joined Claremont High staff in 1954.
