WWI era photo découpage hand painted plaque by Mon. Clady - 2

Oval-shaped photo découpage hand painted timber plaque made by French artist, Monsieur Clady, in 1916.
It features a photographic image of a young boy dressed in a military uniform and cap. The uniform has gold buttons down the front, epaulettes and a lanyard.
The photo has been pasted onto the thin slice of timber and then covered with varnish. The surrounds are painted with green vegetation with a central, pale coloured path on which the boy is standing, and pale blue sky and clouds above.There is some soiling and fading due to age.
The signature of the artist appears near the bottom, under which there is a wavy line and the date, 1916, all in red painted text.
The reverse of the plaque shows the grain of the timber, which appears to be pine, being lightweight and having knots. There is a small metal ring held in place by a piece of coarse, light coloured fabric at the top for hanging, and a white label with a decorative blue border and a grey central stamp. It is not possible to read the text.
