'The Perforated Disc Puzzle' - Lord Roberts' Memorial Workshops

c. 1920
Overview

Square, lidded cardboard box with a central, circular title 'The Perforated Disc Puzzle' written in white on a red background.
There is a black internal border with a blue circle containing a yellow five-pointed star in each corner. The box edges and interior are bright green in colour.
On the underside of the lid are the instructions and the details about the maker. There are some pencil marks drawn onto the lid.
The bottom section of the box has a circular recess in which 4 discs reside, each having a number of white stars in blue circles, as well as holes of the same size. The object of the puzzle is to place the discs in the right position so that all twelve stars are visible from the top - some at the top level and others at lower levels seen through the gaps in the upper discs.
The bottom of the box is plain with a green border. There are several words written as a list in pencil.
