Overview

A coloured photograph showing the front view of a white single storey timber weatherboard house with a green corrugated iron roof. The house features a bullnose verandah with a central projecting gable with a finial. The house was constructed from 1906 and is an example of the application of materials and detailing of the Federation Queen Anne style of architecture.

The roof is faded and rusted in places. Ornamental woodwork and brackets feature under the eaves. The turned wooden verandah posts are arranged in pairs. The central verandah post on the left is broken and missing the bottom half of the post. A hand rail is still connected to the left post. A black electrical cable runs from the top of the hip roof to the left of the photograph.

Reverse: Handwritten in black pen '94 Hensman Rd. Subiaco'.
