The Battery Observation Post for the Oliver Hill 9.2 inch battery was situated on the third (top) floor of the combined fortress fire command building on Signal Ridge / Wadjemup Hill. From this location, the Battery Commander assisted by an Inclination Officer and a staff of 5 controlled the fire of the Oliver Hill Battery guns.
