Postcard featuring Amy Johnson in flying suit

c. 1930
Overview

Greyscale or sepia real photo postcard (RPPC) in vertical orientation featuring pioneer aviatrix, Amy Johnson, wearing her flying suit with fur collar, gloves and boots, holding her leather flying helmet.
In the top left hand corner is the text 'With the compliments of "Tit-Bits",' the company that produced the souvenir postcard.
The reverse of the postcard is plain aside from the printed sepia instructions.

Historical information

A brief biography of Amy Johnson is attached as a supplementary link.

'Tit-Bits' probably refers to a popular, long-running British weekly magazine founded by George Newnes in 1881, known for its human-interest stories and popular journalism. The full title of the magazine was 'Tit-Bits from all the interesting Books and Newspapers of the World'. This souvenir postcard was probably included with an issue featuring the exploits of Amy Johnson.
The same image was reproduced more recently by the Nostalgia Postcard Collector's Club, but this is one of the original cards from the early 1930s.
