WORKING BEE DAYS 1968 - CLUB SIGN AT ENTRY OFF BEASLEY RD
1968This black and white photograph is one of a series taken during the working bees that were undertaken by members to develop the course prior to the club's opening in 1969.
This image is a close up view of the course plan shown on the right hand side of the sign at the club entry off Beasley Rd. The sign is titled: "18 Hole (Private) Course Layout Playable on Opening of 1969 Season".
The course layout has all the holes numbered, with hole number one heading west parallel to Beasley Rd before the dogleg south-west to the green. This in accordance with how the original course was designed. However, this hole has been played as number ten for most of the club's existence.
The full picture of the club entry at this time is shown in Item 2021.75.
