c. 1937Photograph showing the enamelling area in the Metters' factory. There are saucepans suspended from racks ready to enter the oven where the enamel is baked on. Two workers are turning the wheels of the rails which propel the saucepans into the oven, while workmen to the left and right look on. On the left hand are more enamel saucepans standing on racks. Reverse caption in pencil reads: 'Saucepans going into oven (for enamel to be baked on). Date unknown but probably after construction of new premises, 1937.'
