PHOTOGRAPH: METTERS TYPE 'K' WINDMILLS (MODELS) WITH BOXES
Black and white photograph showing two models of Metter's Type 'K' windmills placed behind two packing boxes. The windmill to the right has 'Metters Type K' in capital letters on its tail. The wooden box on the right is narrow and tall, while the one on the left is squat. Both have 'Metters Windmill 8 ft' stamped on their side, together with the Metters logo 'M' inside a diamond. A gentleman (Alton Waddy?) stands to the left of the photo with his hand touching the top of the smaller box. A typewritten note is attached to the back of the photo, reading: 'Windmills ... Alton Waddy.' 'West Australian windmills for South-East Asia are packed in these boxes. The box on the right is 3 feet high. The two windmills in the background are models'.
