Olympus SLR Camera
A black and silver SLR camera with lens attached. A film winding spool, film counter and flash position are on the top with viewing eye piece at back. There is a plastic cap which fits over the lens and a long leather strap with metal clasps attached to either side of the camera. The whole camera, cap and strap fits into a zippered leather case sewn to the shape of the camera.
The donor Helen arrived in 1950 from Singapore and met husband Frank Buytels at the Embassy. Frank came from Holland and they married in 1964. The camera was used throughout their married life at their home in Wanneroo, to take family photos. The camera was used all over the City of Wanneroo including Atlantis Marine Park, in Two Rocks.
