Katanning Hospital
c. 1908A sepia postcard of a brick bungalow style building which has a wooden shelter for a vehicle, a nurse standing outside the building and a verandah. It has a tin roof and there is a small water tank on the roof, and deck chairs on the verandah. To the left of the wooden shelter are steps which lead to a door.
The hospital in Amherst Street Katanning was not used as a hospital after the new public hospital was built in Kobeelya Avenue, in 1925.

On the front of the postcard at the bottom left corner in white print is "HOSPITAL" and beneath this "Katanning W. Australia"
On the back of the postcard is written "Postcard" and below this "The ADDRESS TO BE WRITTEN ON THIS SIDE. WRITE HERE INLAND ONLY" and in the top right hand corner is a square with "Printed in Saxony" inside the square.
On the back of the postcard and written on the left hand side is "W.J. Rogers General Merchant, Katanning W. Australia".
It is a bungalow style building of the first public hospital building in Amherst Street, Katanning. It is a bungalow style building with open verandah, then built in extension with a nurse standing outside the right hand end timber style addition at the end of the building.
