c. 1901A sepia photograph of a decorated archway above a road. The arch consists of two rectangular frames which are decorated with sheafs of wheat and joined across the road with a banner which reads "UNITED COMMONWEALTH". Above this banner is a single furrow plough with a sheaf of wheat. At the top of the left frame is a Union Jack flag and in the centre of the flag is a circle which has a lion in it. On the right frame is a flag which has the Australian Flag and in the centre of the flag is a circle which has a black swan in it.
This copy is of a photograph that was taken from the opposite side of item HSP1998.3
