Tatiana the Tiger / Milan Kundera.
Artist statement: On Christmas Day 2007, in San Francisco, three men, unburdened by moral or existential weight, chose to torment an animal in a zoo. Showering the creature with sharp objects, stones and nasty words. Growing bored of their sport, they departed. Not long after, the object of their ridicule, Tatiana the Tiger, similarly unburdened, chose to leave her enclosure in order to exact revenge. For a considerable time and in a deceptively aimless fashion, she roamed the grounds, prior to ambushing the trio outside of an ice-cream shop, killing one. Unsatisfied, Tatiana left the carcass of her victim and continued to stalk those responsible for besmirching her honour. Eventually finding and mauling them beyond recognition. Then she was shot. Sucks to suck.
