WW2 Aluminum Dixie
Small circular aluminum mess tin which has a base and a tight fitting lid that was used as a portable eating bowl by service personnel. The set is held together by a leather strap with is fed through slots on the lid and there is a fold out handle which is stored inside the bowl.
