Historical information

Mrs Grace Longmire nee Washington was an early settler coming to the district as a teenager and taking part in community life. The family were farming in the area and the story tells of those times. Some of the familes mentioned are Ladyman, Longmire and Tree, as well as stories of building the church, school and hall.
