Clive Street, Katanning
c. 1910A coloured postcard of the northern side of Clive Street Katanning taken from the eastern side of the railway crossing. There is a brick building with three arch ways on the side and front of the building, a two storey building with a wooden balcony and further down the street another two storey building. There is a man walking on the pavement and a man and his dog standing in the street, the street appears to be dirt and there are electricity poles on both sides of the street.
On the side of the building in the foreground is a sign which reads 'THE WESTERN AUSTRALIAN BANK'. The two storey building is the 'FEDERAL HOTEL' and the next building along the street is the 'COFFEE PALACE'.

On the front of the postcard in the top centre is written 'Clive Street, Katanning'
On the back of the postcard is printed in black lettering is 'POST' with a logo with initials inside it followed by 'CARD.' and below this line the card has two columns with the headings 'THIS SPACE MAY BE USED FOR PRINTED OR WRITTERN MATTER.' and 'ONLY THE ADDRESS TO BE WRITTEN HERE.', and in the top right hand corner is a square with the word 'STAMP' inside to affix a stamp.
On the back of the postcard in blue ink is handwritten 'S.H.DALE'
On the back of the postcard on the left hand side and written vertically is 'C.F.MITTER, NEWSAGENT, KATANNING, W.A. Printed in Germany'
