Historical information

The de Havilland Aircraft Company Limited was a British aviation manufacturer established in late 1920 by aircraft designer and pioneer, Geoffrey de Havilland, at Hendon, North London. Space restrictions at the London site led to moving almost immediately to Stag Lane Aerodrome in nearby Edgware, where the company produced some of the most successful and iconic commercial and military aircraft of the inter-war years. Operations were later moved to Hatfield in Hertfordshire.

This badge is believed to date from the World War Two period.
