Overview

English made jar, spherical in shape with rim bare. Deep sky blue in colour near silver plate rim (marked EPNS and Made in England) top complete with hinged handle. Pattern on jar depicts a willow pattern scene with bridge, pagoda and water but not in the blue style but has been colourised. Colours mainly deep blue and white with pattern on white. Possibly a biscuit barrel as makers had a range of biscuit barrels
Makers' name on base and also potter's mark.
