HORSE HAIR FLY SWAT
c. 1900Long fly swat made from light coloured horse hair with a wooden handle.
Two sections of wooden handle are bound by string. A carved crisscross pattern is 54 cms down handle & is 1.5 cms wide. Lined markings to top of handle.

Date estimation speculative, assumed it was used as a functional object and made by a local person prior to commercial fly swatters becoming readily available in rural Western Australia around the early 1900s.
