1860Bottle from Toodyay Library Archaeological Collection.
Gin bottle, olive, broken neck.
Slight indentation around bottom of shoulder suggests was constructed in a 3 piece mould.
Conical kick, possibly using a pontil tool.
A total of seventy three (73) objects were recovered from the north wing of the Toodyay Public Library in July 2009 including 7 glass bottles. Glass bottles represent a very useful indicator of human activity, as they are likely to have both datable makers marks and datable structural features.
