Overview

The wedding veil is made of white netting. It has a flower pattern sewn across it and lace edging. Near the top it has been pulled together to form a point with elastic band.

Historical information

Worn by Sylvia May Bailey, a local Armadale resident, on her wedding day to Eric Anderson. They were married at St Matthew's Church, Armadale on the 4th of March 1944. Sylvia's bridesmaids were Miss Patsy Bailey and Miss Muriel Griffiths. Eric's groomsmen were Pte Fred Jacobs and Mr Vincent Tomkinson. The dress was purchased from Corot & Co of Perth.
