c. 1915Black and white photograph. Shop, R Durack, grocer. Photo is of whole building at 103-105 Rokeby Road, showing balcony with cast iron lace, one half covered by blinds and a french door visible on the other half. Street level has two large shop windows full of groceries. There are entrance doors at right and left of building. Two men stand to left of photo, the right of these, in white with apron is Michael Richard Durack, the proprietor. Beside him is a small girl. Three men stand to the right of the picture, one with an apron, while another man, wearing apron and hat, sits in an open cart to which a horse is harnessed. Two motor cycles are leaning against the kerb which is of wood.
Photo is dated c1915 as the shop occupies a double front as in photo dated 1911 and the child next to Mr Durack looks like an older version of the Babe-in-arms in P87.61 (JM)
