ANZAC Shield

2026 -

The ANZAC Shield trophy was introduced in 2026 as a complementary trophy to the Diggers Cup celebrated annually on ANZAC Day the 25th April.

Competitors for the Shield are those who do not qualify to compete in the Diggers Cup, which is restricted to ex-allied forces service people.

This additional ANZAC Day trophy was implemented as the number of surviving members who qualified as Diggers declined.
