Boy's Match Play Championship (Gross)

This event recognises the winners of the Boy's Match Play Championship (Gross).

 

There are only three records of winners of this event. It is known that the number of juniors playing at that time was relatively strong. However, there is no other information available to explain the limited duration and nature of this event.

 

The winner of each of the three years of results was John Goddard. John was a very good golfer who participated in both Junior and Senior men's pennant teams of that era.
