BOY'S MATCH PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY
1979 - 1981This trophy is titled:
Melville Glades Golf Club
''Matchplay Champion''
Perpetual Trophy
The trophy recognises the winners of the Boy's Match Play Championship. Although not stated, the Championship was a Gross event.
At the top of the trophy is a golfer playing a putting stroke mounted on circular platform that could be construed as a tourist lookout structure. This component is made of some form of plastic material.
The base has three size-graduated platforms made of burgundy stained timber. The manufacturer's label on the base has been removed.
Just three winners appear on silver crests on the wooden base and they all recognise John Goddard.
