Women's Jubilee Foursomes

The Women's Jubilee Foursomes is a stableford event played between March and August with the winning pair recognised on an MGGC Honour Board.

 

The winners are eligible to represent MGGC in a subsequent Golf WA playoff event conducted later that year at another club. If the winners are unable to attend the Golf WA playoff, the second placed team may take their place.

 

History of the Jubilee Foursomes (from Golf WA website):

''The first Jubilee Foursomes event was held in 1971 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Australian Ladies Golf Union. The women who competed in this original event enjoyed the format so much that the WALGU committee of the time decided to continue with the format and make it an annual event.''
