The Kodja Place Cultural Centre - Kojonup
About
About
About organisation
Interpreting the shared history of Kojonup, the Kodja Place shows what is possible when a community works together. The centre unpacks ‘multi-cultural points of view about the land, life and history’ in the Kojonup area. All displays follow the 'One Story, Many Voices' guideline - developed at the time of construction in 2002. Outside, the site includes the rose maze and three stories from Noongar, English and Italian women: Yoondi, Elizabeth and Maria. Inside you can view items and read stories, listen to audios and watch videos from many of Kojonup’s citizens, Noongars and Non-Indigenous alike. The Kodja Place Cultural precinct consists of a visitors centre and shop, a cafe, the Rose maze and the interpretative centre.
