Subcollections
Overview

Copy of sepia photograph shows Mr and Mrs Jones standing on either side of their children - three boys and an older girl.
Another small girl, wearing a long frock stands in front of Mrs Jones.
The boys are wearing sailor suits. Mr Jones sports a boater and Mrs Jones wears a long, dark dress with a high collar and puffed sleeves.
A black dog lies on the ground behind Mr Jones. The family are standing in front of their house.
The house features an extensive verandah, half-enclosed with cast-iron lace of elaborate design. There is a border of lace work, supported by brackets, also of lace. At the right of the image, the house extends into a bay window shaded by an awning that features some carved detail.
The gable above likewise features a carved border. On the other side of the bay window, the verandah extending along the other side of the house can be seen.
There are several decorative urns placed at intervals. There is a large tree on the left of the urn.
This was the first house in Roberts Road, 1886.
