Historical information

The 1954 Royal Visit to Australia was the first-ever visit by a reigning British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, who arrived in Sydney on February 3, 1954.
The tour lasted for 58 days, during which the Queen and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, visited every Australian state and territory, drawing immense crowds and fostering a strong sense of national unity and loyalty.
