Greetings from Katanning
c. 1910A cream postcard with two circular photographs of Austral Terrace, Katanning. The building in the left hand photograph is the "Austral Building", "Katanning Hotel' and "F & C PIesse's" buildings, the photograph is taken looking north along Austral Terrace. The buildings in the photograph on the right are "Premier Roller Flour Mill", "F & C PIesse's building" and the "Katanning Hotel", the photograph is taken looking south along Austral Terrace.
The Premier Flour Mill (Katanning Flour Mill) has a white picket fence at the front of the building.

On the back of the postcard printed in brown lettering is "POST CARD" and underneath this line are two columns with a heading for the right hand column of "THE ADDRESS ONLY TO BE WRITTEN HERE"
On the back of the postcard is a handwritten letter which reads "Next week Sam going to try and send 2 each to Lily & Daisy also Uncle Herb & Muriel Huntley. It is quite a long time ago since I heard from Uncle. I suppose he is too busy. It is now time that I get tidied and have to go over to the shop on some messages so I must now stop. Wishing you a very happy birthday indeed. I remain your loving friend. P.S. If you could I would like some more ? of the kings funeral I have one I received last week."
