Spacers and Space Bands
c. 1950A wooden box containing spacers and there is a single one to the right of the box. There is also a plastic container with space bands and a single space band below the container.
Spacers were tiny blank metal pieces placed between individual letters and words, so that the letters and words were separated and hence readable.
