GENERAL MEETINGS 2007
2007One General Meeting was held in 2007.
The notice of meeting and agenda for this meeting was sent to members along with a copy of the annual report. This item contains the letter which describes the meeting agenda items.
The proceedings of the Annual General Meeting conducted on 29th March included:
- Receipt of the accounts for the past year.
- Receipt of the reports from all the Board members and General Manager.
- All Board members had 12 months of their term to run so there were no elections. Appointments of members to management committees were completed, all sole nominees.
- Three Special Resolutions were considered and passed:
- A Constitution amendment clarifying the process of a member joining the club.
- A Constitution amendment as requested by the regulatory authority, the Department of Consumer Employment Protection.
- Approval for the Board to negotiate a new lease agreement of up to 21 years with the City of Melville
- In General Business the Board announced its intention to build a new buggy and machinery storage shed beside the existing maintenance shed.
