SCORECARD - WOMEN CIRCA 1980

This scorecard is an "Associates" (Women's) card.

It has been determined as being applicable in circa 1980.

This card is the first sample after a sequence of cards printed by sponsor Porter & Salmon.

Compared to previous women's card Item 2020.118 the features that distinguish this card are:

• the number of Local Rules printed on the rear has increased to eight from seven
• the course rating is specified as D.M.R. 74

The layout of this card is very similar to men's card Item 2020.147:

• Textual layout very similar for scoring
• Handicap reduction table is present for Women whereas Men have a Match Play index table instead
• Rounded edges of card front match

The key difference is that 2020.147 has an elaborate front cover featuring a picture of a tree, grass tree, and kangaroo. This elaborate finish suggests that it was printed after this Women's card.
