HOOKED FLAT BAR LEVER

Overview

Rectangular section flat bar, formed to a flat tapered point at one end. The other has been similarly formed but has been rolled into a hook section.

A hooked flat bar lever is used to prise objects.

Historical information

Tools used by Charles Duncan in his Blacksmith and Wheelright shop. The shop was called Duncan & McNamee and was located on the corner of Jull Street and Third Road, Armadale. It was open from 1926-1938.
