A 'u' shaped varnished piece of wood.

Historical information

It was used as an arm rest when working with large ledgers. It was used in the Katanning Flour Mill office when large ledgers of accounts were recorded by hand. It was placed between the pages to rest the wrist at the bottom of the page.
