Overview

Rectangular silver plated evening purse with pink watered silk lining in three compartments. Silver plated clip. Chain handle of purse has a 'finger ring' at the centre. Fin-de-siécle pattern of asymmetrical curving lines on both sides of the purse.

Historical information

The 'finger ring' was sometimes used to attach the evening purse to the costume belt.
