A postcard from a very young Eileen Newman to her mother, Mrs E. Newman, 110 Alexander Street, Beaconsfield, Fremantle.
Front: Postcard showing view of Upper Fall, Rydal, England.
Reverse: Handwritten message: 'Dear Mother, I am leaving by the midday train on Wednesday. I think it gets to Fremantle about half past two. If one of the boys could meet me at the train I will be glad but can manage the rest all right so do not think of coming to Perth. Auntie has not written to say when she is coming but there is another lady here with five children. Eileen.'
